Refund Policy

Stellarcast is sold as a monthly or annual subscription. This policy explains when you are charged, how to cancel, and when we refund. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Who you are paying

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for every Stellarcast subscription. Paddle appears on your card or bank statement, issues your invoice, and accounts for any applicable sales tax or VAT. Refunds are issued by Paddle on our instruction and return to the original payment method.

There is no free trial

You are not charged until you choose a paid plan and complete checkout. The free audit needs no payment details at all. We mention this because a subscription that quietly converts from a trial is the most common reason people seek a refund, and we removed that path deliberately.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing and Usage inside the app. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

We do not prorate the unused remainder of a monthly period, because the period is short and you keep the service until it ends.

Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment. This applies to your first payment and to every renewal, on monthly and annual plans alike. There are no conditions attached: you do not have to give a reason, and it does not matter how much of the service you have used.

To request one, email [email protected] from the address on the account, or contact Paddle directly using the link on your invoice. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

After 14 days, fees already paid are not refunded. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the period you are in.

What a plan buys

A plan buys measurement, not a particular result in any AI engine. We report what the engines say and cannot control what they say. Where an engine is unavailable or blocks automated access, we record the affected runs as failed rather than substituting estimated data, and the refund terms above cover material loss of measurement.

Price changes

A price change does not affect your current subscription during its term. We will email you before an annual renewal at a new price, in time for you to cancel.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Paddle retries it over several days and emails you. If it keeps failing the subscription is paused rather than deleted: your data stays and you can resume by updating your payment method. We do not charge a late fee.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces rights you have by law, and where those rights apply they apply whatever this policy says.

Paddle, as merchant of record, applies a statutory withdrawal period to consumer purchases that runs from 5 to 14 days depending on your country. In Australia, the Australian Consumer Law also covers business purchases under AUD 100,000, which is every plan we sell: we must supply the service with due care and skill and fit for the purpose we described, and where we fail that badly you may cancel and seek a refund, less a reasonable amount for what we had already delivered.

You can also take a refund request to Paddle directly, and Paddle decides it on its own merits.

Contact

Email [email protected]. We answer within one business day and decide refund requests within five.

Once approved, most refunds arrive within a week, back on your original payment method. Paddle's committed limit is 14 days from approval, and your bank may add a few more. If it has been longer than that, tell us and we will chase it.

If you bought through the Shopify App Store, refunds follow Shopify's billing terms instead; contact us and we will help.
